When you create a Stocker account and use the app, we collect information necessary to provide our business management services. Here's a breakdown of what we collect and why:
Account data
Name, email address, phone number, Mailing and Billing Addresses, and password (hashed — we never store it in plain text).
Business data
Business name, type, location, inventory records, sales, customer info, and payment records you enter.
Device data
Device model, OS version, app version, and a unique device identifier for support and crash diagnostics.
Usage data
Features you use, screens you visit, and interactions within the app — to improve your experience.
How we use your information
We use the information we collect strictly to operate, improve, and protect Stocker. We do not sell your data to third parties — ever.

Data sharing
We share your data only in these limited circumstances:
Service providers. We work with trusted third-party providers to operate Stocker — including cloud hosting (e.g. AWS, Google Cloud), analytics tools, and payment processors. These providers are contractually bound to handle your data securely and only for the purpose of providing services to us.
Team members you invite. If you invite colleagues to your Stocker workspace, they will have access to your business data according to the permissions you assign them.
Legal requirements. We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Stocker, our users, or the public.
Business transfer. If Stocker is acquired or merges with another company, your data may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you before your data becomes subject to a different privacy policy.
Affiliates & Business partners. We may share your information with our affiliates (including any parent company, subsidiaries, or joint venture partners) and business partners to offer you specific products, services, or promotions. All affiliates are contractually required to honor this privacy notice.
Data storage & security
We aim to protect your personal and business information:
No Guarantee of Absolute Security. We have implemented organizational and technical processes to protect your personal information. However, no electronic transmission over the internet or storage technology can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. We cannot promise that hackers or unauthorized third parties will not be able to defeat our security to improperly collect or modify your information; therefore, transmission of personal information to and from our Services is at your own risk.
Retention & Termination. We keep your information for as long as you have an account with us or as necessary to fulfill the purposes in this notice. Upon your request to terminate your account, we will deactivate or delete your information from active databases. However, we may retain some data in our files to prevent fraud, troubleshoot problems, assist with investigations, or comply with legal requirements.
Your rights
You have meaningful control over your personal data. Here's what you can do:

Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
Correction
Update or correct inaccurate personal information.

Request deletion of your account and associated data.

Our website uses a small number of cookies to function correctly and to understand how visitors use our pages.

The Stocker Android app does not use browser cookies. It may use a unique device identifier for crash reporting and analytics.
Children's privacy
Stocker is a business management tool intended for use by adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from individuals under the age of 18. If you believe a minor has created a Stocker account, please contact us at contact@stockertechnology.com and we will promptly delete the account.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. For significant changes, we will notify you via email or an in-app notification at least 14 days before the change takes effect.
Continuing to use Stocker after a policy update constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
